It has been a long, cold, and snowy winter. This weekend, however, the forecast calls for thunder and a whole lot of dirt in the air.

Grandview Speedway will finally get the green flag for their 52nd season of stock car racing this Saturday, April 5.

This weekend's exciting card features a triple header show with the 358 Modifieds, Sportsman, and Late Models, all with a full series of qualifying events for each division. Capping the evening off will be a 30-lap feature for the Modifieds with 25-lap features for Sportsman and Late Models.

This will be the first race with new announcer Jeff Ahlum. He is replacing Ernie Saxton, who retired at the end of last season after 45 years in the booth.

Front gates will open at 5:00 PM with racing getting started at 7:00 PM.

This week's Meet and Greet session will feature 358 Modified driver Kyle Weiss, Sportsman lady racer Kaitie McCardle, and second-year Late Model racer Dan Green. Each will have their race cars on display for the fans. The Meet and Greet session will kick off at 5:00 PM. The Low Down & Dirty radio show will be hosting the event at the main entrance to the speedway.
